This was brought recently to an antique dealer. I was told it's not the original and I knew that but it's also not one of the later reproductions. It might have been created from the original casts. It is in good shape. It weighs a ton made out of cast iron. Does not have the original door on the bottom . The beard does move on this one indicating it's an earlier piece. The mechanical movements although still there are not very smooth. The bag tends to want to stay open. It's a really cool piece. Included is the article from a newspaper taken years ago about it.
