Jennifer Capriati | Ferrari 360 Modena

Jennifer Capriati is a successful American tennis star. Not only has she taken an Olympic singles gold, but she’s also won the French Open and the Australian Open twice.

She’s pictured here with her Ferrari 360 Modena in Fiorano, Italy. Clearly a fan of the Scuderia Ferrari racing team, she got to take her mid-engined V8 supercar around the track. Boasting a credible 400-bhp and a 190-mph top speed, this prancing horse set her back around $160,000.

Completely stock and not the most prettiest Ferrari ever made.

Kimi Raikkonen | Ferrari Enzo

Ex Ferrari and 2007 World Champion Kimi Raikkonen took time off to spend a few seasons rally driving and dabbling in NASCAR. In 2011 he returned in style with Lotus. Still showing he had the skills, the Flying Finn is set to partner Alonso and drive for Ferrari again in 2014.

Being Scandinavian, Kimi has an inherent love of motor sport. Although his first car was a Lada, he told Metro UK: “I’ve got some bikes, probably ten in total. Most of them are motocross bikes. I have some cars including a Ferrari Enzo – that’s my only Ferrari – and skidoos, stuff like that. I have a Hummer and a few Cadillacs including an Escalade pick-up.”

He even owns a 1974 Stingray once owned by Sharon Stone. Kimi scores high here because, despite being partially obscured by a killer chopper, the Enzo is a design and technological masterpiece.

Rafael Nadal| Ferrari 458 Italia

Rafael “Rafa” Nadal is a Spanish tennis player considered by many to be the greatest tennis player of all time. Thanks to 13 Grand Slam singles titles, including two at Wimbledon and two at the US Open, combined with a 2008 Olympic gold and many other wins, Rafa has earned the title, “King Of Clay”.

Nadal previously turned up to training in an Aston Martin DBS before deciding the British car just wouldn’t cut it anymore. Upping his game off court, the World Number 1 purchased the ultimate supercar in the Ferrari 458 Italia.

The 458 looks great in white, although with the yellow brake callipers, I’d personally go for darker rims.

Felipe Massa | Ferrari 599

Felipe Massa is a Brazilian Formula 1 driver who up until the end of this season is best known for his role as a driver for Scuderia Ferrari. In 2008, having won the Brazilian GP and final round of the season, he just needed Lewis Hamilton to finish 6th or less to win the World Championship by a single point. It was raining hard and Hamilton dropped down the field and scrambled to get back. Massa’s family were caught on film prematurely and embarrassingly celebrating as Hamilton just managed to take fifth on the final corner of the race.

Massa is set to drive for Williams in 2014 and will be glad to drive for himself and not play second fiddle to the likes of his former teammates, Michael Schumacher, Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso.

Driving for the most famous name in racing obviously has its benefits. Massa owns this race spec 599 and another standard 599 as a daily driver.

Top 10 Modified Celebrity Cars

Although this may sound like a fairly straight forward Top-10 look into the broad and varied world of celebrity cars, when it comes down to finding 10 “top” celebrity mods, it’s actually harder than you think. Celebrities are known for their often big and eccentric egos, and they like nothing more than displaying this in their cars. When money is no object and your ego is big and/or eccentric, car mods and visions usually go terribly wrong. Take the Hulkster below and his SRT Viper, for instance, and you see what I’m up against here. The Mk I Viper happens to be one of my favourite cars, especially in red with the factory yellow rims, but this is going too far.

So after much internet trawling, I present to you some of the better and tasteful celebrity modifications. This is entirely subjective, of course, but anyone finding the above attractive shouldn’t even be reading this article in the first place.

Now this is more than you’re average modded out car. This serious piece of machinery is a Hennessey Venom GT Spyder, a highly-modified version of the Lotus Exige. Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler bought this one for a cool $1.1M. You wouldn’t think someone wearing that sock/sandle combo would require a car capable of 0-200-mph in 15.9 seconds.

Known for hosting The Car Show on Speed TV and The Man Show, Adam Corolla has a very nice car collection. Apart from his race-spec JDM livery and Lamborghinis, he’s also got a very nice Aston Martin DB9 modified by legend Chip Foose. Apart from a hood scoop, Brembo discs and calipers and some black aftermarket 18″ wheels were fitted.

Not actually in shot in the collection, this is a very rare Ford RS200 owned by a very lucky Tim Allen. For a funny man this car couldn’t be anymore serious. The RS200 Evolution is a Group B lunatic of a car, helping the FIA finally make the decision to ban Group B rally. Most of these cars ended up in collections like this, and this particular car has just 3,500 miles on it. It doesn’t look that outrageous, but consider this: 0-60-mph in 2.1 seconds on tarmac… and that was in the late 80s.

This modified car is one of many unique and rare cars owned by TV legend Jay Leno. This monster is powered by an M47 Patton tank engine and has a custom aluminum body. It has 810-bhp and weighs in at 4300-kg (1/11th of the actual tank’s weight).

It’s thought Leno is set to upgrade with fuel injection and twin turbochargers to double the bhp to 1600-bhp, so around 400-bhp per tonne. Not that it will trouble Leno’s wallet, but this tank car will only manage 5-mpg.

Ralph Lauren is obviously a man with natural style and vision, and this shows in his car collection. Pictured above is the fashion mogul driving his Porsche RUF CTR-3 around the Hamptons. More than just a body kit and custom styling, the RUF CTR-3 features the kind of technology that gives you 750-bhp, a top speed of 233-mph and 0-62-mph in 3.1 seconds.

WWE wrestling star, Bill Goldberg is known for his love of muscle cars, and his clone of the ’70 Satellite to a Plymouth Superbird is simply stunning. The Superbird was either loved or hated in NASCAR, but it was eventually banned because of its aerodynamic advantage and 200+mph speeds.

Reality TV star, Barry Weiss owns his fair share of classic customs like this ’47 Cadillac. Being an avid collector for most of life, he knows when he’s hit upon something special. Is there anything cooler than doing a burnout on your own drive in a custom caddy?

Singer Cee Lo Green is looking chilled in his modern spin on a ’35 Auburn Speedster. Loving the flat paint combined with this red centre hubs.

Years before the Fast & Furious franchise began, Paul Walker (Bryan) admitted to laughing at the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) cars, but thanks to the F&F movies, he found himself totally infatuated by them. His personal garage features many JDM turbo rockets, but it’s this slammed Datsun 240Z that does it for us.

If I think about Sly Stallone driving I picture that ultra cool grey muscle car he uses in Cobra, but unfortunately he doesn’t actually own it. He does, however own this old school hot rod, a ride he likes driving around Hollywood.

Fabolous | Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

Fabolous Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

Rapper Fabolous may very well be praying to God and thanking him for his success and also for creating the F12 Berlinetta. In white this Ferrari looks stunning and this particular model really suits the colour, unlike a few models (F355 and F430) where it actually cheapens them.

Fabolous has really made a great choice in both car and colour. Nuff said…

Didier Drogba | Ferrari F430

Didier Drogba Ferrari F430

Didier Drogba is an Ivorian forward for Galatasaray in the Süper Lig and is also the captain and all-time top scorer of the Ivory Coast national team. Drogba is best known for his time at Chelsea FC, where his strength and dominance in the air earned him much respect from fans.

Apart from 3 FA Premier League titles, 4 FA Cup wins, and a UEFA Champions League win, Drogba also boasts an impressive list of personal achievements, from the 2013 Golden Foot award to being a 2 time footballer of the year.

For such a dominating and flamboyant man on pitch only the best will do when it comes to hitting the road. Here Drogba was spotted parking up his standard but sexy Ferrari F430 before hitting the high street shops.

Ian Poulter and His Ferrari Collection

Ian Poulter and His Ferrari Collection

Ian Poulter has been said to be “living the dream” by various Golf publications, and they’d be right in doing so. Here we see the English PGA pro proudly showing off his white Ferraris. In the background is his California with black rims and yellow callipers and in the foreground his Ferrari FF.

The two time World Golf Champion has recently shown his passion for the Italian company by purchasing a LaFerrari – as soon as we see some pictures of them together, you’ll be the first to know.

Gordon Ramsay | Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

Gordon Ramsay’s favorite word begins with an “F” and so does his favorite make of cars. After being taken for a spin around the company’s test track in the 210-mph car, the foul-mouthed chef branded the Ferrari F12 as “sexy” and “fantastic”.

It’s not unknown The F Word host loves Ferrari, as he has owned a string of them, including the 550 Maranello from 2001. He also owns a gorgeous white 458 Italia.

The F12 is Ferrari’s fastest production model, its howling 740-bhp V12 engine rocketing it from 0-62mph in 3.1 seconds.

Even Ramsay would have had to wait, as even with a $383,000 price tag, it sold out immediately and there is a year waiting list.

I like the fact he’s chosen dark blue and gone for black rims.

Top 10 Basketball Player’s Cars

Like most athletes, what they drive around in matters, and this is defiantly the case when it comes to the NBA. Ballers are responsible for the most diverse and eclectic collection of cars in the sports world. From Donks to 4X4s, you’ll find them all here, and being taller than the average male doesn’t stop ballers from buying small and sporty either.

Here we see Golden State Warrior Stephen Curry II with his pimped out Mercedes G-Wagon. Considered one of the greatest shooters in the game, this baller thinks big when it comes to his rims and ride.

Kevin Wayne Durant is a forward for the Oklahoma City Thunder. This Olympic gold medalist and former Rookie Of The Year has chosen one of Ferrari’ finest with the California.

George Hill, Jr. is the Indiana Pacers’ points guard with an obvious creative streak. This is what happens when an athlete and a vision is bought into reality. I’ll leave you to decide whether it’s a good vision or a nightmare.

Chris Andersen, aka “Birdman” is a center for the Miami Heat with a slightly different vision. This monstrous International was customized by Car Toys in Denver, CO. Matching it’s imposing presence, it sits upon 22.5″ black wheels. Big truck for a big guy.

Miami Heat forward LeBron James has a Ferrari F430 convertible. It’s nice to see a Ferrari that isn’t red, and not only that, the after market rims actually suit this car – for an athlete this is even more remarkable.

6′ 11″ L.A. Lakers center, Dwight Howard certainly needs leg room when it comes to his cars. What better way to transport that 270-lbs torso around than in this silver white Bentley Mulsanne?

Marc Gasol Sáez is a Spanish center for the Memphis Grizzlies. 2012 NBA All-Star and 2013 NBA Defensive Player of the Year, Grisol owns a rather reserved yet stylish Jaguar XK.

Miami Heat Michael Paul Beasley, Jr. plays both forward positions for the Miami Heat due to being ambidextrous. Beasley loves black on black as seen here on his Range Ranger. He also has a black on black Bentley Flying Spur.

James Harden is a shooting guard for the Houston Rockets and a 2013 first-time All-Star. His beard is almost as impressive as his yellow Chevrolet Camero. A fan of making an impression, Harden also has a murdered-out Range Rover and an all white Mercedes S Class.

Reggie Evans is a power forward for the Brooklyn Nets and is one of the ‘Donk’ clan. I’m personally not sold on these cars and their stupidly over-sized wheels. It doesn’t take Freud to tell you its a form of ‘look at me’ attention seeking. It certainly attracts attention, although perhaps the wrong kind…
