I think this is the first and probbably last Hyundai that will be customized by Platinum Motorsport. This is Ron Artest’s Hyundai – Lakered Out.

George Lopez promised the Lakers forward a car — a Phantom actually — but Artest aid all he needed was a Hyundai. Whenever Ron Ron saw George sitting courtside at Lakers games, he would remind him about the car. So Lopez finally invited Artest back on the show to promote his rap album and that’s when George presented him with the Laker Mobile.

The car has purple and gold rims and brakes, as well as Lakers colors on the seats and interior. This car is obviously a joke and gimmick car. I would have customized this to be even more wild and crazy, paint the entire car purple and gold. Either way, not too impressive.

David Beckham Camaro

This is David Beckham’s 2010 Camaro customized by Platinum Motorsports in Los Angeles. Looks like Beckham is really trying to fit into the United States with this American muscle car.

The car has a matte gray finish on it – hard to tell from the pictures wether it is a flat gray paint job or a flat gray vinyl wrap. With a flat gray finish like this, the best option for wheels is always matte black. Beckham went with the Agetro V500 wheels in an all matte black finish. The only other modifications I see is a blacked out grille and tinted windows.

The car looks good, very tastefully done and mean. I would have loved to see Beckham do a wide body conversion on his Camaro, that would have been insane!

Carmelo Anthony must feel at home with the New York Knicks. He is back on the east coast where he is from as you can see from his black 1971 Chevelle. The entire car is a tribute to his hometown of Baltimore, MD.

It is a small block 350 with Air Conditioning, Automatic Transmission, Cowl Induction Hood and Front Disc Brakes. Painted in the Baltimore Orioles colors with logos.  The stripes are an alligator skin pattern for lack of a better description. The interior is Black with Orange stitching and a custom Rockford Fosgate Stereo with Carmelo’s Initials.

This car was obviously done before he got any NBA money and it is not that nice. This car is currently for sale and the proceeds will go to charity. The winning bidder will also get a signed autograph jersey from Melo – hope its not a Nuggets jersey, that wont be worth much.

Here is C.J. Watson, the speedy back up point guard of the Chicago Bulls standing in front of his 2008 GMC Denali. You might have heard his name in the news recently for dating Floyd Mayweather’s girl Josie Harris. But we are here to talk about his car and only his car. He had all the customization done over at California Wheels in San Jose while he was playing with the Golden State Warriors.

The wheels are all black 2-piece 24″ Giannelle Barcelonas on 285/40/24 Toyo Tires. The vehicle was lowered 3″. The grille was painted black to match the wheels. It also has custom made headlights with HID kit and Halos. Great choice on the 2-piece wheels because they are a lot less likely to bend than the 3-piece wheels, especially on a heavy SUV like this. The tires are not too low profile, so that also helps protect the rims. The color is really boring, would have loved to see it be converted to a matte paint job.

I feel like this customization is incomplete. If your going to paint the grille and the wheels all black, why would you leave all the chrome molding?

One of the best scorers in college basketball history, Stephen Curry now plays for the Golden State Warriors. While many people had questions about his size and wether or not his skills would translate to the next level, he proved them all wrong. He is one of the best young guards in the NBA. Here he is standing infront of his customized 2009 Mercedes Benz G55 from California Wheels in San Jose.

The wheels are 24″ chrome and black Modular Society wheels with a custom Mercedes center cap. The tire size they went with was 350/35/24 all around. Some other extras include custom LED tail lights, custom LED blinkers, custom chrome cages, window tint, and smoked lights. The head rests also have “SC30” stiched into them.

The car looks great, nothing but black and chrome all over the car. Great fitment with 35 series tires on the 24s, he wont be bending his wheels every week.

Lebron James just picked up a new car to add to his fleet of cars in Miami. This time he picked up an all white 2010 Camaro SS. The car is completely white except for the gloss black emblem, the tinted windows, and a thin black pinstripe racing stripes.

I like the idea of going all white on a Camaro, I have never seen it done before. The all white multi spoke wheels also look good on this car. I love the staggered lips on the wheels. The only problem I have is with the racing stripe outlines. I don’t think it adds anything to the car and it just looks awkward.

The King definitely has good taste in his cars and this is no exception.

Josh Koscheck goes back to back on our website with this silver 2007 Ferrari F430. This looks a lot different than his black Hummer that was previously posted. Both cars were customized by California Wheels.

The best part of the car is the matte black Vellano wheels.  The front has 19×8.5″ Vellano VSH wheels with 235-35-19 Pirelli tires. The rear has 20×12.5″ Vellano VSH wheels 325-25-20 Pirelli tires. It also has Brembo Ceramic Brakes that were custom painted yellow, a Quicksilver Exhaust, ECU Tuning, tinted windows, and smoked lights. That killer stance is achieved by lowering the car 1.5″ with coil overs.

The silver car with matte black wheels looks really clean. I also love the yellow brakes to go with the yellow Ferrari emblem on the car.

Josh Koscheck was the UFC fighter that so many of you couldnt guess correctly. My hint should have been ” he got his ass kicked by GSP last week”. That might have helped.

The car is a 2008 Hummer H2 SUT with 26″ Dub Big Homie Wheels and 315-40-26 Pirelli tires. The grille is painted black along with all the door handles and everything else that was chrome on the car. For good measure, the lights are smoked out and the windows are tinted.

Surprisingly, you don’t see many murdered out Hummers out there. I think it looks very mean.

This 1971 Chevelle SS was built for Reggie Bush of the New Orleans Saints by Streamline Designs. This is some very impressive work on the Chevelle. Unlike other athletes who hand the keys to their cars over to shops and get very little out of it, Reggie Bush got hooked up on this car. A complete ground up restoration.

Where to begin…Lets starts with under the hood. It is a 6 speed automatic equipped with an LS3 680 Horse Power engine. The wheels are 22″ and 24″ chrome Asantis, 24×15 in the rear with 405/25/24 Pirelli tires! As you can tell from the stance, it has air ride suspension. It also has 16″ custom wilwood brakes and 6 piston wilwood truck calipers.

This should be a lesson to other athletes,  take your car to a place that knows what their doing.

Although the Miami Heat have been struggling in the early part of the NBA season, it should just be a matter of time before they start dominating. In the mean time, it seems like Lebron is having a lot of fun in Miami.

Here you can see him in his custom painted burnt orange Jeep Wrangler. It is a 4 door Jeep that is raised just the right amount. All the windows are tinted pitch black and it is sitting on gloss black custom off road wheels.

This Jeep is a very fun car to have in your fleet, especially in Miami. I love the color of the car, the custom wheels, and the stance of the car.
