These 10" plates were hand painted by Lerosey, a prestigious Parisian porcelain retailer located at 11 Rue de la Paix, one of Paris's most fashionable addresses in the 19th century. The crowned monogram and elaborate gold gilt borders were the h cobalt blue indicate these were commissioned for French nobility or wealthy clientele during the Second Empire or early Third Republic period.
