⭐ DESCRIPTIONThis listing is for an original 1914 embossed Christmas postcard featuring a festive holiday design with three golden bells tied with a silver cord, surrounded by holly leaves and bright red berries. The ornate lettering reads:
“Christmas Greetings and all Good Wishes for the Coming Year.”
The artwork is framed with embossed detailing that gives the card depth and texture, typical of high‑quality early 20th‑century Christmas postcards.
The reverse side includes early divided‑back printing with decorative flourishes and designated spaces for correspondence and address. A green one‑cent George Washington stamp is present, canceled December 22, 1914 in New York, confirming the mailing year.
The handwritten message is short and friendly, addressed to Miss Nellie Fairbanks, Wells Bridge, N.Y., offering a warm glimpse into holiday correspondence from the pre‑WWI era.
This is a lovely example of a 1914 embossed Christmas postcard, combining holly artwork, golden bells, ornate typography, and authentic postal history. Ideal for collectors of Christmas postcards, embossed holiday cards, or early 20th‑century ephemera.
