The complete Silver Holofoil chase from Fleer’s 1994 Marvel Masterpieces: all ten Hildebrandt paintings on the sparkling silver holofoil border, 1 of 10 through 10 of 10. Captain America, Carnage, Daredevil, Hulk, Iron Man, Punisher, Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man, Venom and War Machine. This is the hobby-box original, not the retail Gold or the Walmart Bronze. Raw and ungraded, each card sleeved. We have two complete sets; the photo shows one of them and you will receive a set in the same condition.
About the setThe 1994 Marvel Masterpieces set was Fleer’s first year with the brand after SkyBox, and the first one painted front to back by a single studio: Greg and Tim Hildebrandt did all 140 base cards. Eight cards to a pack, thirty-six packs to a box, with a gold-foil Signature Series parallel in about every pack and two chase sets above it.
The Silver Holofoil cards are the chase most collectors remember. Ten Hildebrandt paintings on a sparkling silver holofoil border, numbered 1 of 10 through 10 of 10: Captain America, Carnage, Daredevil, Hulk, Iron Man, Punisher, Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man, Venom and War Machine. The same ten came in a Gold Holofoil version from retail packs and a Bronze version from Walmart, but the Silver is the hobby-box original.
