Overview:This real photograph features an intimate studio portrait of two women posing closely together. The image captures early 20th-century women's fashion, including high-collared dresses, upswept hairstyles, and distinct jewelry pieces such as a fleur-de-lis brooch and a large locket. The bottom half of the photograph was intentionally masked during printing, leaving a large white margin.
Front of Postcard:A close, half-length studio portrait of two women standing with their arms around each other's shoulders. The woman on the left wears a dark, high-collared dress with ruffled details, adorned with a prominent fleur-de-lis pin at the neck and a long chain holding a round locket or pocket watch. The woman on the right wears a light-colored, high-collared lace blouse with a small collar pin and a delicate chain necklace. Both have their hair styled in classic Edwardian voluminous updos. The bottom half of the postcard features a wide, unexposed white margin.

Publisher Info: The back features a divided layout with "POST CARD" printed in outlined letters at the top. The stamp box is an AZO brand with all four triangles pointing up, dating the photographic paper to between 1904 and 1918. "CORRESPONDENCE HERE" and "NAME AND ADDRESS HERE" separate the two halves.
