2002 Pokémon World Championships Seattle - Official Player T-Shirt, Size M, NM. For sale: one of the rarest pieces of Pokémon TCG tournament history — the official t-shirt given to competitors at the 2002 Pokémon World Championships, held in Seattle, WA on August 2–4, 2002. This was the first-ever Pokémon World Championship and the only one organized by Wizards of the Coast, before Nintendo took over the license.
Reports indicate only 64 players worldwide were invited to compete, with each receiving one of these shirts — making this an extremely limited and historically significant item for any serious TCG collector.
Size: M
Color: Navy blue
Condition: Near mint. Worn briefly at the event over 20 years ago, then washed and stored carefully ever since. Both prints remain sharp and well-preserved — see photos for exact condition of the item you will receive.
This is a genuine grail-tier piece for collectors of vintage Pokémon TCG memorabilia, tied to the peak era of the original competitive game (Base Set–Neo Genesis/Neo Destiny). With 2026 marking Pokémon's 30th anniversary and renewed global interest in vintage TCG history, pieces like this are becoming increasingly sought after.
Feel free to message with any questions before purchasing — happy to provide additional photos or measurements.
