Kohler. This edition of Johann Friedrich Starck’s tägliches Hand-Buch was widely used among German immigrant Lutheran communities in America.
This example retains its original embossed leather binding, gilt spine lettering, and brass clasp hardware. One clasp arm remains intact, while the second clasp is missing the connecting latch piece. Original marbled endpapers and devotional woodcut illustrations are present.
