Here is a scarce little hair bottle with original stopper, for your consideration.Non AI listing! It's an oval shape but has 16 small panels. The front side is embossed with: STEARNS' / HAIR REMOVER / $1.00 / DIRECTIONS / ON CARTON. It is old milk glass that will turn a slight SCA purple if exposed to UV rays over time. This bottle has its original ground stopper and it has a small (probably hemp) twine tied from the neck to the stopper. I've seen this bottle with the rope before but can't verify if it is original or not. If not, it was tied by a pharmacist or the like to keep the stopper with the bottle since they are ground to match - and if you got them mixed up, the bottle could leak. Excellent condition. 3 3/8 tall with the stopper or 2 3/4" tall without it. Attributed to FREDERICK STEARNS & CO. from Detroit, Michigan. A neat little bottle!
