**Item Description:**
Up for sale is a beautiful original antique black and white studio portrait photograph dating to the turn of the 20th century (late Victorian to Edwardian era, circa 1895–1905). This stunning image captures a serious young mother and father posing formally on either side of their infant child. The photograph is filled with fantastic social history and styling markers. A major highlight for collectors is the highly detailed antique infant pram / stroller carriage featuring primitive metal wire-spoke wheels and wicker framework. The parents are elegantly dressed in late-1890s fashion; the mother features a high-neck dark dress with early leg-o-mutton style sleeves, and the father is in a classic three-piece suit with a formal bow tie.The photograph is printed on a heavy card stock featuring a lovely pale pink tint and unique serrated pinking-shear style decorative borders. The reverse side is entirely blank with an authentic, rich age patina. A wonderful addition for collectors of turn-of-the-century infant memorabilia, historic fashion reference archives, or vernacular photography scrapbooks.**Item Details:**
