Antique 1920's Book Safe Coin Bank Calemeter, Collectible Banks,Red Orange:
$89.99
Antique 1920's Calemeter coin bank / savings bank / piggy bank / book safe bound in a red orange leather-like embossed binding. It has a key-hole shaped opening in the front where you can see the day and month (permanently set Nov 22. There is an embossed coin image at the top. There is a slot on top margin with " A quarter a day keeps it up to date". The front margin has two openings, one states "For various coins" and the circular opening states "Paper money" (I guess you were meant to make a little tube with the paper money and insert it like a straw). Front states "c. Pat. by Zell Prod. Co. NY". Back of book has a round hole stating "To set, turn". The key is missing. The date adjustment may or not work- I can't test it. The bottom opening is in the open position and the lock mechanism is missing as well.
