Up for sale is a gorgeous, highly collectible antique Art Deco powder sifting vanity compact, dating to circa 1920s-1930s. This piece features stunning translucent electric blue guilloche enamel work on both the front and back covers, accented by an engine-turned sunburst and wave pattern. The front lid is beautifully adorned with an intricate, pierced floral filigree centerpiece medallion.
The interior features a mechanical rotating loose-powder sifting dial. The interior well is clearly hallmarked "STERLING" alongside the premium "935" purity stamp (93.5% pure silver), indicating fine European craftsmanship (likely Austrian or German origin)."
