Antique French Lille Faience Heart Shaped Hinged Trinket Box - For Repair / PartsUp for sale is a beautiful 19th-century French tin-glazed Faience pottery heart-shaped trinket box, featuring the historic "Lille 1767" crown mark on the base.Please note that this item is currently broken/detached and is being sold in pieces strictly for restoration, repair, or creative display. The metal hinge frame has separated from the ceramic body.Design & Aesthetic Features:
* Lid Design: Exquisitely hand-painted with an 18th-century romantic "Fête Galante" scene depicting a courtly couple courting in a scenic garden landscape next to a stone pillar monument.
* Interior & Sides: The inside of both the base and lid, as well as the outer walls, are delicately hand-painted with colorful floral bouquet sprays.
* Base Mark: Features the purple hand-stamped crown motif reading "LILLE 1767" clearly visible on the underside.Condition Report (Please Read Carefully):
* Frame: The metal rim and hinged clasp mount have completely separated from the porcelain lid and base portions (old glue residue visible on the raw ceramic edges). The metal hinge itself functions perfectly.
* Ceramic Lid: The top pictorial plaque is in very good condition with bright colors and no major chips to the painted surface.
* Ceramic Base: Features a visible historic hairline crack running down the center groove of the heart shape (clearly visible in the interior photo).
