Unique (8) drawer solid oak wood machinist tool chest that most likely dates back to late 1800's to early 1900's with its beautifully crafted dovetail design. The manufacturer label is missing but it appears to be typical Gerstner & Son design compared to many other antique Gerstner machinist tool chest that I researched but not 100% certain. This tool chest has many scratches, scuffs, and dings, plus it's missing the top handle and two metal corner straps, and no key for the lock. This old as-is tool chest is not the nicest, but it possesses that antique character that many collectors appreciate and there are many upsides to this toolbox having all (8) drawers properly slide in and out on their side rails, having the entire oak wood exterior box that remains strong, and it continues to have purpose being used to store your hand tools, machinist tools, taps & dies, or to use it as art deco display in your workshop, work bench, machine shop, or your antique / vintage shop.
