SOHOJEWELERS Procedures & Policies

Shipping: Buyer responsibility

Inspection — Please inspect your shipment at delivery while the carrier is present. If you notice signs of damage, tampering, loss, or package compromise, request the carrier document the issue before accepting
Signature Requirement — A signature may be required at our discretion for security and insurance compliance. Please contact us prior to purchase if this presents a logistical concern.
Delivery — If delivery is missed, the buyer is responsible for arranging re-delivery or pickup.

Gemstone Grading & Measurement

Evaluation & Specifications — Estate gemstones are measured and graded while mounted (unless a third-party report is provided). Grading is performed within mounting limitations; carat weights are calculated by formula and are approximate.
Treatments — Colored gemstones are not tested for enhancement unless noted. As treatment is standard industry practice, enhancements may be present.

Metals & Purity Standards

Testing — All items are professionally tested. Gold purity may be provided as a range when appropriate.
Vintage Variations — In vintage and antique jewelry, purity may vary due to period solder, prior repairs, historical manufacturing methods, and older hallmarking standards that may not align with modern testing; because antique production and purity-measuring techniques differed from those used today, some variation in modern test results is expected and inherent to antique jewelry

Photography, Scale & Condition

Visuals — Colors and dimensions may vary due to lighting and screen settings. Photos may show items worn or next to objects for scale; please review all measurements carefully prior to purchase.
Estate Condition — Items are sold in pre-worn condition and are generally not polished to preserve natural patina. Minor surface wear consistent with age is expected and not specified in listings; significant defects are disclosed to our best ability.

Pricing

Pricing Policy — Prices reflect platform-specific operational costs. SOHOJEWELERS does not offer price matching across different sales channels.

Alterations

Services — We do not offer sizing or alterations.
Post-Sale Modifications — Any resizing, polishing, or repair by the buyer voids return or claim eligibility. Altered items may be refused or subject to partial refund due to diminished condition and value.

New items added daily — Follow SOHOJEWELERS to stay updated. Thank you for visiting!
