RARE Estate FIND! (COULD NOT FIND ANOTHER!)This Antique Victorian Oval Hinged Footed Shaving Dressing Vanity Box is a rare and elegant piece from the Victorian era, hailing from PORTLAND ME. United States in the late 19th century.Made of QUADRUPLE silverplate by the Colonial Silver Co. brand, this lovely monogrammed box includes a mirror, cup, and brush, perfect for grooming and dressing oneself in a stylish manner. The intricate design and historical significance make it a prized possession for collectors of antique silver and Victorian-era artifacts.It is 8.5 inches wide by 6.5" deep and 3 1/4" high.The Letters appear to be an "A", "L"?, "H". A little hard for me to tell.The inside has a heavy 5" beveled mirror that is removable; a shaving cup and brush (possible horsehair bristles).There is a style number, but hard to read.Happy to answer questions!
