Antique Vintage "PHISTER SODA-ACID" COPPER & BRASS FIRE EXTINGUISHER-INDUSTRIAL GRADE!!!! - for your consideration, this is an Antique Copper and Brass Fire Extinguisher that was manufactured by the very famous THE PHISTER MANUFACTURING COMPANY, out of CINCINNATI, OHIO, U.S.A. This beauty has its original glass acid container, steel cage and lead gravity stopper included. This antique has its original bronze cap and it is in very good shape.THIS ANTIQUE IS EMPTY & DOES NOT HAVE ANY ACTIVE INGREDIENTS!!!! OVERALL, THS ANTIQUE IS UNIQUE DUE TO THE HEAVY-DUTY BRONZED TOP THAT WAS PAINTED RED ORIGINALLY, SO I RESTORED IT AS WELL. THIS PIECE OF HISTORY IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. THESE ARE FAIRLY RARE AND WOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY COLLECTION.This beauty is very old as it is a copper & brass extinguisher with rare copper rivets along the back that are all intact and polished.TRULY RARE and ONE OF A KIND!!!
As the pictures so, this one is polished to the point that you can see yourself in the copper and brass with its restored high gloss red enamel paint.DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS BEAUTY!!! There are some minor blemishes on the antique, but overall this antique shows very well and much of the dings that are easily hidden while displayed. There has been some hazing on the copper from prior use when the contents made contact with the metal, but overall it's in great condition. The few signs of use are because this was an actual piece of fire fighting history.Please, please, please look at the photographs as they tell the true story of the condition of this antique.
The pictures tell the true story of this beautiful antique piece of fire fighting history. This is a RARE extinguisher as it has a beautiful copper shell body with the original brass embossed plates. I have restored the original paint on the cap and the front brass plates. I can clean, polished and even restore the paint to these antiques but I cannot remake the metal. These are natural blemishes that occur from prior use to fight fires, so please keep that in mind.

I have shined this antique and it literally has a mirror finish.There are a few noticeable blemishes because any real antique is not mint because it is a real piece, but the pictures show the truly outstanding condition of this antique. The copper body and copper rivets along the back are all present, in great condition, and clearly shown in the photographs. I have polished the brass connectors to a mirror finish as well. The extinguisher measures 24" tall with an 8 and 1/4" diameter. The copper body had been shined and the true condition is shown in all of the photographs. There are minor blemishes to this real piece of fire fighting history and those blemishes are clearly shown in the pictures and most are along the backside of the antique. Any blemishes are seen in the photographs, as this was a piece of fire fighting history and not a repop piece, so please keep that in mind. Given this antique's age, the condition of this beauty is remarkable. Overall, this is a truly beautiful piece.PLESE LOOK AT THE PICTURES. Please do not expect that this antique is in perfect condition and was a piece of fire fighting equipment.
