1924 Pennsylvania Highway Emergency Service Telephone Box Subscription Brochure.Highway Emergency Service was a private company that contracted with states to install these emergency telephone boxes every mile on state highways, in this case Pennsylvania. All you had to do was plan ahead and pay your annual dues of $5 and you were all set to break down on the highway. Folding brochure. 3.5”x6”, black & white cover illustration. Some wear and soil, as if it was actually carried around in the glove compartment for a while.1930 Nebraska Motor Vehicle Law Public Works Car Driving Booklet.Paper booklet. 3.75x5.75, 15 pages. Not dated, but with the code T.3878 in the lower right corner of the map which we are told dates this to 1938. Folding map. 3.5x7 unfolds to 26x21. Minor soil, small splits along a few folds.
