Genuine Briar Smoking Pipe Silver Tone Lid -Made in Czechoslovakia - Vintage:
$29.99
I dont know enough about smoking pipes to give proper descriptions. Please use pictures for details and for condition.I will state what I notice:The silver tone lid does open and close securely. I see some dents on the rims edge and on top of lid. Scratches too.The bowl is marked on both sides. "Genuine Briar" "Made in Czechoslovakia"- both are slightly worn. The bowl has scratches and wear marks. The stem of the bowl has a small crack on the inside. The wooden bark of stem shows some age and wear. The threaded mouthpiece has a small chip at the top. No cracks at the threads. I will say that the threaded portion does tighten securely but if over tighten it will come loose.I did not try to unscrew the actual bit. It is secure.I did briefly clean the metal lid.Included is the carved wooden poker.
