Gucci Silver Plated Cigarette/ Trinket Box, 1969 The-iconic rectangular box features a bamboo style border on the hinged cover and has the Gucci double G monogram.; Interior has a lacquered hardwood and can be used for jewelry or trinkets on the cover on border there is a faint gold vermil on bamboo pattern, but it has been worn with time and use,, please see all the photos for condition report, box sold as pictured,,, on back side of box is a circlular faint blemish , I could not remove with polish, but not a scratch, just darker silver bluish area, hinge cover opens easily and closes tight. the box was a gift in 1969 bought in rome at Gucci it is a wonderful box, it shows its age in use and wear,But over all very good shape,,,solid,,sold as is,The light flecks pictured on front cover are not scratches just light area that did not remove with polish, very faint in light Gucci, made in Italy ,printed on back hinge side of box see photos, there is no sterling mark present so I presume it is silver plate. as boxes were made in both at that time ;Box measures 7in x4 1/2in x 1 1/2in. See all photos for condition report .note.. the slightly darker area on front cover photos in the last four photos is just reflection of hand of photographer.
