Original WWII U.S. Army Air Corps AAF British Made J.R. GAUNT 3" Aircrew Wing
Beautiful British Made U.S. Army Air Corps Aircrew uniform wing. Measures 3 1/8", has the typical British style pin, and nice crisp J.R. GAUNT maker mark. Wings are finely feathered with crisp clear details. It appears the aircrew insignia was applied over a blank or most likely an Observer wing, this was a common practice among wing makers which cut down on manufacturing expenses.
