Oval Vignette Portrait of Six Girls Posed Arm-in-Arm by Height with Bows RPPC:
$9.95
OverviewThis is a wonderfully composed real photo postcard featuring a studio portrait of six girls, likely sisters or close friends. They are arranged by height and stand arm-in-arm, creating a charming image of unity and affection. Presented in a classic oval vignette, the portrait is a perfect example of early 20th-century photography, capturing the hairstyles and modest dresses of the era in beautiful detail.
Front of PostcardThe postcard features a formal studio portrait of six girls, presented within a large, soft-edged oval vignette. The girls, ranging in age from young childhood to late teens, are arranged in a single line from tallest to shortest, their arms linked together. They are dressed in the modest fashion of the Edwardian era, wearing a variety of high-necked blouses and long skirts. Their hair is neatly styled, with several wearing ribbons, and the smallest girl on the far right is notable for the very large, dark bow perched atop her head.
