Purpleheart is a dense and vibrant tropical hardwood, known for its striking purple color that deepens with time. It is commonly used in fine furniture, flooring, and decorative inlays due to its durability and unique aesthetics. Despite being challenging to machine, Purpleheart finishes to a beautiful sheen and is highly resistant to wear. Its exotic appearance and toughness make it a favorite for high-end woodworking projects. The photos are from stock we cut and buffed to show the grain and figure.
