RARE Vtg 1970s Zhejiang Handicrafts Woven Wicker Elephant Pedestal Stool :
$849.00

Bring a stunning piece of mid-century design into your home with this exceptional vintage wicker elephant pedestal. Unlike common single-headed elephant tables, this rare find features a unique, sculptural double-sided design with beautifully detailed elephant heads, trunks, and tusks facing outwards on both sides.
This piece still retains its original vintage paper factory label on the bottom, identifying it as an authentic export piece from Zhejiang Handicrafts (People's Republic of China) dating back to the 1970s/early 1980s. These labeled Chinese export animal baskets are highly collectible and sought after by vintage enthusiasts.
Perfect for use as a unique side table, a plant stand, a vanity stool, or simply a striking statement piece. It seamlessly complements Hollywood Regency, Palm Beach Chic, Bohemian, and Mid-Century Modern decor styles.***please note- this piece has a chipped truck on 1 elephant (can paint it white to hide the defect) and the wicker is separated at the bottom on one side so therefore it sits slanted now. I don’t recommend putting anything heavy on it to prevent further damage but you can put lighter-weight things on it like a flower pot. I cannot find this exact piece anywhere so you can shoot me an offer. VERY COOL piece nonetheless!! Related Items:
