This is a plate of rare icy blue, "oil painting fluorite" from inner Mongolia, China. The fluorite in this piece has a lovely icy glow that shifts with every angle. This piece also has some interlocking twinned cubes of fluorite with a textured surface and some white barite. The purple and yellow phantoms inside are strong and appear to have a distorted surface appearance from the textured fluorite--giving it interesting views from all sides. The backside also has a nice layer of glittery pyrite, and the top also has a some small blades of possibly barite or other white mineral.
