Beautiful and rare matching set of four vintage solid copper mugs, believed to date approximately from the 1940s–1960s Mid-Century era, featuring two different period maker stamps associated with Ozelina’s/Ozell California metalware.No other listings found on ! What makes this set particularly interesting is that although all four mugs match in design, dimensions, construction and distinctive large loop handles, they carry two different underside markings:* 2 mugs marked “Designed & Reg. by Ozelina’s Los Angeles”* 2 mugs marked “Made by Ozell California”The Ozelina’s Los Angeles name is found on other vintage decorative and barware pieces from the Mid-Century period, including collectible casino-related metalware. The differing marks make this set especially interesting, although I have not found enough surviving company documentation to establish an exact production date or definitively date one stamp before the other.These are substantial, quality-made copper mugs, not lightweight modern novelty cups. One mug weighs approximately 244.6 grams, illustrating the heavier construction.Each has a beautifully simple Mid-Century form with a gently tapered cylindrical body, rounded lower edge and substantial curved loop handle. The clean, undecorated copper surfaces give them a classic California modern/barware appearance.ConditionAuthentic vintage condition with wonderful age-developed character.The mugs show varying degrees of natural copper patina, oxidation, tarnish, darkening, spotting, scratches and surface wear, including darker interiors and some areas of green/verdigris oxidation. They have intentionally not been aggressively polished, preserving the vintage surfaces and maker marks.The four mugs vary somewhat in patina and brightness, as expected from pieces of this age.
