Rare Vintage Chinese Jade Carving Three Wise Men Fuk Luk Sau Wood Base - 6":
$675.00
Beautiful vintage Chinese carved stone sculpture, represented as jade when originally sold, depicting three traditional Chinese wise men or immortals surrounded by an elaborate arrangement of trees, foliage, and architectural details.
The three figures appear to represent Fu, Lu, and Shou (Fuk Luk Sau), the traditional Chinese deities symbolizing happiness, prosperity, and longevity.
Each figure is individually detailed with flowing robes, expressive facial features, long beards, and symbolic objects. The central figure is prominently positioned above the two seated figures, creating an attractive three-dimensional composition.
The carving displays rich natural-looking variations of reddish brown, amber, cream, olive green, and dark gray, with polished surfaces that highlight the intricate details.
The reverse features a carved landscape with bamboo, foliage, and architectural elements, making the sculpture attractive from multiple viewing angles.
The sculpture rests on a separate, shaped wooden display base with a warm brown finish.
Originally sold as a jade carving; however, the stone has not been professionally tested or authenticated. Material identification is based on the original representation and is not guaranteed.
