Vintage S.T. Dupont Ligne 1 Large Lighter – Chinese Lacquer & Gold – Full Set:
$479.00

Up for sale is a stunning, authentic vintage S.T. Dupont Ligne 1 (Large Size) pocket lighter dating from the late 1970s to early 1980s. This is a complete collector's set, including the original vintage presentation box and instructional booklet. It features the highly desirable, genuine Laque de Chine (Chinese Lacquer) body framed by heavy gold plating.Mechanical Condition:

Functionality: 100% fully functional. It sparks strongly and lights reliably.
Gas Seals: Tested and completely leak-free. Unlike many vintage Duponts that require expensive restorations, this unit holds its gas pressure perfectly over time.
Gas Type: Yellow Cap / Yellow Gas model (confirmed by the original orange/gold brass hue on the underside of the fuel cap).

Cosmetic Condition:

Lacquer: Excellent shape with no deep chips or cracks. The authentic Chinese lacquer has retained its deep, glass-like shine over the decades.
Gold Plating: Displays an honest, beautiful vintage pocket patina. There is natural thinning and wear to the gold plating along the high-friction frame edges and corners from decades of respectful use.
Overall: This piece carries a wonderful character that collectors actively look for, proving it is a genuine, unrestored survivor.

Authenticity Guaranteed:

Serial Number: 80JYR27... (Full hand-stamped serial number visible in photos).
Details: The serial number digits are individually hand-struck and slightly uneven, verifying its authenticity against modern, machine-stamped counterfeits.
