Set 4 Vintage Tenmoku Jianzhan 3.5" Tea Cups - Oil Spot Partridge Feather Glaze:
$79.99
Up for sale is a stunning, coordinating set of four (4) traditional Chinese Jianzhan (Tenmoku) tea tasting cups. Perfect for Gongfu tea ceremonies, meditation spaces, or display, these heavy, iron-rich clay cups feel incredible in the hand and brilliantly catch the light.
Item Features:
• One-of-a-Kind Glazes: Due to the organic nature of high-fire kiln transformation, each cup features its own unique variation of the classic "Oil Spot" (Yuteki) glaze pattern. No two cups are exactly alike—featuring varying flows of metallic blues, deep blacks, and silver-gold flecks.
• Traditional Craftsmanship: Every cup is crafted with a rough, dark, unglazed iron clay foot ring on the bottom, designed to ground the piece beautifully.
• Dimensions: Each cup measures approximately 2.25 inches tall and 3.5 inches across the rim, making them a generous size for tasting or everyday tea enjoyment.
• Condition: Excellent, like-new condition. There are absolutely no chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. They have been beautifully cared for.
• Versatile Size: Perfect for enjoying oolong, pu-erh, green, or black teas.
Please note: Because these are individually handcrafted pieces, slight natural variations in glaze depth, spotting pattern, and shape are a normal part of their unique charm.
Shipping & Handling:
Ships safely wrapped in heavy bubble wrap to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Fast shipping from a smoke-free home.
