🇬🇧 DESCRIPTION

Unusual vintage miniature snake liquor bottle, commonly known internationally as Snake Wine / Snake Liquor.

The bottle contains a real preserved snake specimen, arranged in a striking upright and coiled position. The area behind the head is noticeably expanded, creating the spectacular appearance traditionally associated with a cobra.

As the original label is no longer present and no scientific identification is available, the exact snake species is intentionally not claimed. This appears to be an Asian traditional preparation or souvenir bottle, probably containing a strong spirit of the type commonly used for snake liquor.

Attractive small moulded glass bottle decorated with raised botanical motifs including grape clusters and leaves. An embossed “AB” marking is visible underneath the bottle.

The bottle retains its cork stopper and yellow capsule. The capsule shows age-related wear and losses, clearly visible in the photographs.

A highly unusual display piece for a curiosity collection, cabinet of curiosities, ethnographic collection or unusual interior decoration.
