Identified U.S. Navy Officer Sword – Karl Hammer – USS Toledo CA-133 – Korean War VeteranOffered here is an original U.S. Navy officer’s dress sword from the personal belongings of U.S. Navy officer Karl Hammer, a Korean War veteran associated with the USS Toledo (CA-133).This sword was acquired directly from the contents of Karl Hammer’s abandoned storage unit, together with his personal photographs and other items documenting his identity and military service. This provides an important provenance connection between the sword and its former owner.Karl Hammer served as a U.S. Navy officer and was associated with engineering duties aboard the USS Toledo (CA-133) during the Korean War era.
