COLLECTOR'S NOTE on CHARACTER & CONDITION :-
The base of this jar features a fantastic, heavy manufacturing shear mark (chill scar) stretching right through the centre typography. This is a classic factory artifact from the 1920s machine-molding process where the mechanical blades sliced the molten glass. It is completely smooth on the inside, stable, and gives the piece incredible "crudity" and unique character that collectors love in antique glass. It is extremely common for these scars to look remarkably organic in appearance.
There are no chips, dings, or post-production cracks. The glass displays beautifully with great clarity. No Lid Included.
Perfect for a rustic kitchenalia display, or an addition to a regional British advertising collection, or any avid collector of Antique and Vintage Jars, glasses and bottles.
Dimensions:- 11cm tall, 7.5cm diameter, and a weight of 246g
The item will be Very well protected in bubble wrap and foam padding within a cardboard box marked fragile for transport.
