VINTAGE 1950 1954 DU PONT ARLINGTON WORKS NJ 25 YEAR CLUB PHOTO ALBUM JAMES Q.:
$99.95

Very cool old DU PONT Arlington Works in New Jersey photo album from a 25 year "club" or 25 year anniversary for their long term employees. Several good quality black and white photos (many have glares in my pics).
In addition there is a program/menu for the evening and also a 17.5" x 12" poster showing photos and names of all the 25+ year club members - it states there were 202 of them.
The cover of the photo album states May 11, 1950, and the program/menu states May 6, 1954. I am assuming whoever this belonged to was likely in the club at least starting in 1950 and just put this program inside 4 years later. The poster could be from either year I guess, I see no date on it. This poster is in good condition.
The program shows the Call to Order was by Charles E. Stiles. I did not find a reference directly to him online, but I found a Charles E. Stiles who passed away in November, 1954 and at that time he was the mayor of Pompton Lakes, a borough about 20 miles from Arlington, so likely(?) the same man. The Address was given by one of the Du Pont family members, James Q. Du Pont. This program is in good condition.
The photo album contains 19 photos. The window openings are about 6.5" x 4.5" so I assume the photos are 7" x 5". They are all of good quality in good condition with 2 group photos of the room. I am pretty sure Mr. Du Pont is pictured in these. The album itself is in overall good condition with some edge wear and some foxing on the outer edges of the white pages. Related Items:
