Vintage 1940s Hand-Tinted Studio Portrait - Pretty Woman & Her Beautiful Fluffy Grey Cat
Up for sale is a wonderful, highly collectible piece of mid-century pet and vernacular photography. This authentic 1940s studio portrait features a lovely woman with a classic WWII-era hairstyle holding an exceptionally fluffy, long-haired grey cat with striking, hand-colored orange eyes.The photograph is a beautiful example of mid-century hand-tinting, visible in the vibrant red lipstick, delicate cheek blush, and carefully highlighted cat eyes.The portrait comes completely intact inside its original Art Deco cardboard presentation tri-fold studio folder.
