Vintage Mid Century Modern LE-BO 60 Slot Record Rack W/ Original Label Brass Color 1960s USA Made
Measures: 16 3/4 inches long by 7 1/2 inches deep by 5 3/4 inches tall
Description:Fantastic vintage mid-century Le-Bo De Luxe 60 Record Rack by Le-Bo Products Co., Inc., Long Island City, New York featuring the original sales label. This attractive brass-plated metal wire organizer features a geometric, angled-slot design for displaying and sorting a record collection. The rack retains its original red, white and black illustrated manufacturer paper label on the front, an especially appealing feature for collectors of vintage audio accessories and original mid-century packaging and advertising. The black front index strip is numbered for convenient record selection. While this rack is new old stock, it has been kept in sub-optimal conditions. That being said, the label is still in really good shape. I have cleaned the rack with a soft cloth. It's brass plated, so I wouldn't recommend scrubbing, however a deep clean might help improve the overall condition of the metal. I will leave that up to the new owner. I have two of these available. So select 1 or 2 (discount on 2) when checking out.

The rack has been given a light cleaning but retains areas of surface discoloration, tarnish and light corrosion to the brass-plated metal, visible particularly along some wire sections. More intensive cleaning or restoration is left to the buyer's discretion to preserve the vintage finish. Original paper label remains attached and shows age and handling wear, including marks across some of the printed text, but is in overall good shape.
Historical Note
Le-Bo marketed this De Luxe 60W rack as a decorative, easy-selection record organizer. Its original label advertises brass plating, storage for 60 jacketed records of assorted sizes and a $2.98 list price. The numbered front index and compact wire geometry reflect the era of home record collections and hi-fi accessories. The surviving manufacturer label provides particularly useful identification and period retail context. Keywords
