Original vintage Elliott Company “Strainers” Bulletin A-4, dating approximately to the 1930s or 1940s.Published by Elliott Company of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with general sales offices in Jeannette, Pennsylvania, this industrial catalog covers strainers and filtration equipment used in power plants and other industrial applications.The booklet includes information on Elliott Twin Strainers used for removing foreign material from water, oil and other liquids. Applications shown include pump suction lines, turbine lubricating systems, water lines and large industrial installations.Inside are numerous period black-and-white photographs, technical descriptions and examples of Elliott strainers in actual service.The back cover also lists a wide range of other Elliott equipment including steam engines and turbines, reduction gears, generators, motors, centrifugal blowers, condensers, ejectors, feed-water heaters, filters, separators and valves.This appears to date from approximately the 1930s or 1940s. The booklet shows age and storage wear, including discoloration, staining, surface wear and handwritten markings, as shown in the photos. Interior pages remain readable.A very interesting piece of 1930s-1940s industrial, power plant, pipeline and machinery history.Please review all photos carefully for exact condition and contents.
