Description:
Add a touch of authentic rustic charm to your home or garden with this heavy-duty 1930s vintage H.P. Hood & Sons milk can. Weighing a substantial 26.2 pounds, this piece features prominent, deeply embossed lettering on the front that reads "HOOD REGISTERED 1939". It features a classic flared neck and dual side handles for maneuvering.
This can has a great farmhouse aesthetic with its white painted finish. It was previously kept outside and repurposed as a planter, so intentional holes were made on the bottom to drain the water. This makes it a perfect, ready-to-use piece for your porch plants or as a rustic outdoor umbrella stand with built-in drainage.
Condition:
This is a vintage, used item displaying a beautifully aged, weathered patina from being kept outside. The white paint shows chipping, surface wear, and rust spots typical of age and outdoor exposure. The interior exhibits visible rust and oxidation, and the bottom features the aforementioned drilled drainage holes. Please note that it does not include a lid. Please review all photos carefully to assess the character and condition.
