Please read all. Vintage1948 SINGER 128 Portable Electric Sewing Machine Bentwood Case. So this sewing machine is in very good visual condition. The sewing machine is very free and turns easy by hand. The motor turns it but not well. If I release it to fill a bobbin the motor runs but struggles. Take the belt off and motor runs great. I did oil with some Singer oil. That tell me the motor might need some TLC. Someone wrapped a piece of tape around it as you can see in the pictures. I don't have anything to remove the adhesive. The cords are actually in very good condition. The silver bobbin cover does not seem to be the correct one. This sewing machine is definitely a big candidate for restore. As I said this machine turns very easy the motor needs help. The bentwood case is in great condition but I do not have the key. My little flattip screwdriver unlocks it easily. This sewing machine was well cared for as you can see in pictures.
