Vintage 1950s Pere Noel Santa Child European Street Snapshot Photo 3.5x5:
$21.99

Original vintage black-and-white snapshot photograph showing a young boy posing with a traditional Père Noël / Santa Claus figure on a busy European city street.

The costumed figure wears a long robe, pointed hood, and large white beard while standing with his hands on the boy’s shoulders. Behind them is a wonderful period street scene filled with pedestrians, bicycles, mature trees, and surrounding buildings.

The reverse has a handwritten French inscription mentioning “Gérard” and “Noël.” Some of the handwriting is difficult to decipher, so we have left the exact wording open rather than guessing.

The photograph has attractive deckled edges and appears to date to approximately the 1950s.

Measures approximately 3.5 x 5 inches.

A charming and unusual vintage Christmas photograph with strong holiday, childhood, European street-life, and vernacular photography appeal.
