Vintage 1950s–early 60s Pioneer Steamship Co. chainstitched oval patch — blue embroidery on white twill with blue border.
Pioneer Steamship Co. was the Great Lakes bulk-carrier fleet run by Hutchinson & Co. of Cleveland, Ohio (1913–1962), so this is a genuine fleet-era piece. Patch has been removed from a garment; embroidery is intact with light fraying at the border edges (see close-ups).
