When have you ever seen a canister/cookie jar like this???
A very unique vintage 1970s studio pottery canister/ cookie jar!!Crafted with a whimsical, arts-and-crafts aesthetic, this piece features a rich, brown-toned base glaze that beautifully mimics a natural woodgrain or tree-bark texture.
The beautifully hand-painted body and lid are adorned with eye-catching, spiral swirl patterns executed in dimensional slip-trailed white and mustard yellow glaze.
Because it features no maker's stamps or signatures, this jar is highly characteristic of the popular 1970s hobbyist studio pottery movement, making it a completely One-of-a-Kind treasure for collectors of retro kitchenware and bohemian home decor.
