Vintage 1972 Grosvenor Club Wooden Boxes Pair Empty Cedar Cases Wills Australia:
$46.08
This listing is for a beautiful matching pair of original, empty vintage Grosvenor Club Imperiales storage boxes made from solid cedar wood. Stamped on the base by manufacturer W.D. & H.O. Wills (Australia) Ltd with a production date code from May 1972, these local pieces are over fifty years old. Both boxes feature vibrant multi-coloured crest labels on the lids with gold borders, illustrated side trims showing historical figures, and a bright red embossed brand label inside the lids. Sized for 25 items each, this matching duo is in great shape for desk storage, a home bar display, or craft reuse.
The boxes are in remarkable vintage condition and have been stored well over the decades. The cedar frames are structurally solid, square, and completely clean inside, still holding a very faint hint of the natural wood scent. The original brass hinges are sturdy and function perfectly. The exterior paper labels remain bright and securely glued, showing only minor edge scuffing from storage and the cleanly cut remnants of the green Australian duty stamps. Please review the detailed photos to view the crisp 1972 Australian factory stamps and the excellent condition of this matching set.
