Vintage 1977 Topps Star Wars Card 59 Alec Guinness As Ben Kenobi Blue Border:
$18.56
Vintage 1977 Topps Star Wars trading card from the 1977 Topps Star Wars Series 1 blue border base set, card number 59 titled Alec Guinness as Ben Kenobi, printed on standard card stock as a non-sport trading card.
Card front features a full-color photograph of Alec Guinness in character as Ben Kenobi, shown from the chest up in his Jedi robes, gazing to the side against a dark, softly focused background from the original Star Wars film.
A bright blue star-sprinkled outer border with small white moons, circles, and dots frames the image, with a thin black inner outline, a red and yellow STAR WARS logo burst with the number 59 in the lower left corner, and a blue nameplate along the bottom edge carrying the Alec Guinness as Ben Kenobi caption.
The lower front border also includes the 1977 Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corp. copyright credit line identifying the officially licensed production and tying this card directly to the original theatrical release era.
Reverse side is printed with a vertically oriented color illustration scene that extends nearly to the card edges with a plain natural card stock strip along the upper edge and no caption text, making this vintage Alec Guinness as Ben Kenobi card a distinctive piece for Star Wars and non-sport trading card collections.
