**Vintage 1978 Goebel Charlottenhütte Crystal Glass Bell - First Edition with Box**
Up for sale is a beautiful vintage 1978 Goebel crystal glass annual bell. This piece marks the definitive First Edition (1st Annual Release) of Goebel's famous Charlottenhütte glassworks holiday series. It comes complete with its original deep blue presentation box and retains its original factory stickers.
**Product Features & Details:**
* **Brand/Maker:** Goebel (Charlottenhütte / West Germany)
* **Release Year:** 1978 (First Edition)
* **Design:** Features a beautiful frosted satin glass handle sculpted as a young praying girl with a ponytail. The lower body consists of a clear, heavy ribbed crystal dome with "1978" embossed in a frosted block near the lower rim.
* **Markings:** Signed/etched on the inner glass rim with the Goebel hallmark stamp. Retains its original factory stickers attached to the glass.
* **Dimensions:** Stands approximately 6-1/4 inches tall with a 3-1/2 inch base diameter.
**Condition & Color Transfer Disclosure:**
* **Glass Structure:** Pristine structural condition! There are absolutely no chips, structural cracks, fleabites, or repairs on the delicate frosted handle or clear glass dome. The bell produces a beautiful, crisp ringing sound.
* **Color Rub-Off:** Please note there is a small area of light blue ink transfer/color rub-off on the back of the frosted girl's ponytail. This occurred naturally over the decades from contact with the blue interior dye of the packaging box (please review close-up photos).
* **Box:** The original dark blue box is structurally solid and fully functional, showing typical vintage shelf wear, edge softening, and minor scuffs from long-term storage.
Offered as-is with original stickers intact—a wonderful anchor piece for a vintage Goebel or holiday bell collection!
