The ashtray has a glossy black appearance in ordinary lighting, but when held against a strong light, the glass reveals a beautiful reddish-purple color, characteristic of black amethyst-style glass.
The exterior features bold white CAMEL lettering, while the interior displays the crescent moon, camel, and stars design.
The bottom of the interior is marked © 1997 RJRTC.
Features:
Vintage Camel cigarette advertising collectible
Moon and stars design with camel silhouette
Glossy black glass with reddish-purple translucence
White CAMEL lettering on exterior
Four cigarette rests
Concentric circular ridges on underside
Marked © 1997 RJRTC
Good vintage condition with some surface wear.
There is a noticeable white surface mark on the exterior near the Camel lettering. The mark remained after washing and its exact cause is unknown.
No chips or cracks were detected during inspection. Some minor surface marks are visible, consistent with age and handling.
The white lettering and moon-and-stars design remain attractive.
Please examine all photographs carefully, including the close-up of the white mark, as they are part of the description.
