Up for sale is a stunning, heirloom-quality Artisan Father Christmas / Santa doll by the boutique studio Leo Design. This is a rare, limited-edition numbered piece (No. 231) completed in 1999. Unlike mass-produced holiday decor, this grand holiday figure is entirely hand-crafted with luxury, natural textiles and premium materials.

Premium Design & Materials

The Coat: An incredible, heavy patchwork robe intricately quilted from a variety of textured cream/ivory woven wools, bouclé, and patterned blocks.

The Fur Trim: Elegantly trimmed along the hood, sleeves, and coat edges with genuine, ultra-soft white rabbit fur pelts.

The Face & Beard: Features a beautiful, hand-painted sculpted face with deep-set, realistic glass eyes and a long, flowing curly wool/mohair beard.

The Build: This is a large-scale, heavy soft-sculpture plush figure. The sheer weight of the high-quality clothing and dense stuffing gives it an excellent, premium heft. It is freestanding and sits flat on its own without needing a rigid inner frame or external doll stand. Stuffing in bodice May need fluffing.

Accessories: Santa is holding a matching plush folk-art hobby horse/reindeer, metallic gold leaves, and sheer wired ribbon. He carries a heavy cable-knit toy sack detailed with teardrop pearls.
