Vintage / Antique Chinese Pinkish-Red Glazed Porcelain Bowl Blue White Lotus:
$380.00
The exterior glaze displays subtle variations in tone, ranging from soft peachy red to deeper reddish-brown, with an extensive network of crackle throughout the surface. The glaze has a distinctive appearance reminiscent of traditional Chinese red-glazed ceramics.
The interior is decorated with loosely painted blue-and-white scrolling lotus motifs, surrounded by a dotted border. The contrast between the warm red exterior and the blue-and-white interior gives this bowl a particularly striking appearance.
The bowl has a broad, flared rim, a rounded body, and a substantial foot. The recessed base is covered with a pale glaze showing extensive crackling, while the foot rim exhibits visible discoloration and wear.
