Vintage Bill Callahan Fine Pewter Hand-Painted Mallard Drake Miniature Decoy:
$85.00
This highly collectible waterfowl miniature is hand-cast in solid fine pewter and individually hand-painted. Designed by artist Bill Callahan, the figure replicates the detailed texturing of a classic folk-art wood carving while maintaining the premium, heavy feel of solid pewter. The figurine captures the iconic plumage of a drake Mallard, highlighting:Its signature iridescent forest-green head, accented by a clean white neck ring and a bright yellowish-tan bill.A rich, dark chestnut-brown breast blending smoothly into detailed, gray-vermiculated flanks. The distinct blue violet speculum mirror patch bordered by crisp black and white bars along the wings.Because each piece was meticulously hand-finished, no two figures share identical brushstrokes. It makes an excellent addition for collectors of premium miniature decoys, signed pewter art, or rustic display items. Related Items:
