Vintage BRIDGE KITCHENWARE French earthenware pâté terrine mold with original fitted pressing lid.
A beautiful example of traditional French culinary cookware, produced in France for Bridge Kitchenware, the well-known New York supplier of professional-quality kitchen equipment.
This substantial rectangular terrine features a warm reddish-brown glazed exterior, contrasting cream-colored glazed interior and a wide, slightly flared upper rim.
The fitted ceramic pressing lid features two integrated handles and sits recessed inside the mold.
This specialized design was traditionally used for preparing and pressing pâtés, meat terrines and other classic French culinary preparations.
The underside is clearly stamped:

CONDITION:
Good vintage condition with attractive age-related character and signs of previous use.

The cream-colored glazed interior shows noticeable discoloration, dark spotting, staining and accumulated residue consistent with previous use and age.
The upper rim shows discoloration, deposits and areas of surface wear.
The fitted lid shows surface discoloration, staining, deposits and wear. Both integrated ceramic handles are present.
